Stop Smoking Program

Almost everyone knows the adverse effects of smoking tobacco. Heart disease is the number one killer of men and women in the United States, and cigarettes are a leading cause of this statistic. Lung and other cancers, emphysema, and early aging are also directly linked to smoking cigarettes.

Cigarettes are toxic. Here are just a few of the chemicals found in tobacco smoke that poison the cells of a human body.

  • Nicotine
  • Formaldehyde
  • Arsenic
  • Strychnine
  • Black tars

You probably know all the good reasons to stop smoking cigarettes. You are intelligent and have great logic and reason. Perhaps, you think that you are having a problem quitting because you are weak-willed. Perhaps, you are worried about weight gain. And, how will you deal with the stress in your life without that cigarette?

The truth is your conscious mind (logic and reason) is not very influential when it comes to generating new behaviors. Actually, your subconscious mind is running your show….up to 90% according to research. Your subconscious mind gets programmed like a computer to smoke through a process of repetition. Here are a few programs (beliefs and concepts that you have accepted to be true) that you may have:

  1. My meal is never finished without a cigarette.
  2. Cigarettes are relaxing. (Actually they are not a relaxant, but rather a stimulant)
  3. I just know that I will gain weight if I stop smoking. I’d rather continue smoking than gain weight.
  4. I can’t imagine drinking (coffee/alcohol) without a cigarette.
  5. Cigarettes are my friend and help me deal with the stress in my life.

Most people start smoking thinking that it will benefit them in some way. The Truth is: THERE ARE NO BENEFITS TO SMOKING CIGARETTES! It is amazing how many people stop smoking after just one session!  But not all do.  So, my program is 3 sessions and includes dealing with stressors; be aware that boredom is a stress.  

                              All it takes from you is a desire to stop smoking. Hypnosis does the rest.
